At the stroke of Week 40

Well, we made it. After 40 weeks, we are on the final stretch. Rachel has worked her last day at school today and I am basically wrapping up all of my work at the office. So keep an eye out on the blog. There'll be plenty of pictures pretty soon!

IT'S A MIXED YEAR!!!!

Choose your headline for tomorrow:

Lisa pulls the upset!

or

Juancho was robbed!

What a night. Congratulations to the winner: Lisa Ayala

And to all my Oscars f(r)iends: Good night, and good luck...

Will this be a mixed year?

Will Best Movie and Best Director be taken home by one movie or will it be shared? Stay tuned!

Extra! Extra! The 78th Oscars to go down to the wire!

Who will it be? Lisa with Crash or Juancho with Brokeback? Every one else has been eliminated! No apto para cardiacos....

Brokeback went broke... so far...

Brokeback has gotten only one award so far (and a very trivial one at that...) I am predicting a major snub by the Academy - and I have a feeling Crash might actually pull it off....

A comfortable mathematical lead?

It seems that Juancho has a nice lead (which is backed by the mathematics of the point scheme...) but the night is still very young...

After sound editing going to King Kong... we have ourselves a three-way tie!

UPSET!

Major upset!!! No one had "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp"... Damn....

50% of the categories, but only 38% of the points...

Right now, 50% of the categories have been announced and no one has a clear lead... but only 38% of the points have been awarded... so anything can happen...
